Kalle Becker was born in Goettingen, Germany and he studied graphics, filmmaking, photography and Russian in Germany and the Ukraine.
As a filmmaker and actor he worked in
Germany, Russia, Georgia and South Africa.
Kalle is married to the South African storyteller Gcina Mhlophe, and they two have a wonderful daughter. He also featured as a freelance artist and illustrated children’s books like Gcina Mhlophe’s The Singing Chameleon as well as contributing illustrations to her latest collection of stories entitled Our Story Magic.
